About Missy
Thanks for taking the time to get to know more about me! I am a busy mommy to six kiddos, three of whom I have given birth to and three of whom, well, I did not. I am lucky to be deeply in love with my best friend and my partner in life, Andy. I work for the Down Syndrome Information Alliance and Sacramento County Office of Education Infant Development Program as an Infant Educator. I adore being a mom although I struggle daily with mommy guilt and insecurity - which I will unload very openly on our blog. Along with all the chaotic wonderfulness that comes with having a large family, I love spending time with Andy on our porch, discussing everything from the silly antics from the day to solving the worlds problems! He is truly my best friend and we enjoy each other so much! I also love to run, cook and bake, organize and work on home projects. I also have an immense love for the LA Dodgers!
Heather Melissa!!! Hello Sweetheart! First, Dad wants to know when you started going by Missy? . . . and he wonders how long you have been following our blog? . . . . . and he says hello and sends his love! We read your info, and Andy's and about Gabbie in 6th grade (how is THAT possible????) What a beautiful young lady she is! So grown up! Lucy's smile is so catching---and it lights up her face! And little Evey, goodness, it won't be long and you'll be telling us all how she is doing in school! Andy and his boys sound wonderful! You know, you wanted a big family . . . . God is good!
